What do you offer?
We provide bouncy castles for childrens parties, fundraising events and corporate activities. From the small garden party to big fun days, we can offer something for everyone.
We offer our bouncy castles on a "staffed" or "non-staffed" basis. We have found that customers like having the choice of whether to supervise the equipment themselves or hiring someone to do it for them.
We offer a first class, friendly and professional service to all our customers. We have heard horror stories of bouncy castles being booked for parties and never turning up. We promise never to "double book" our castles, and if we say we will provide a castle, we will provide one. We have never let a customer down, and don't ever intend to!
Why should I hire an inflatable from Tamworth Inflatables?
We are a small, family-run business, and, as such, can provide the personal touch which is sometimes missing from some of the larger companies. Whether you are looking for an inflatable for a childrens party, a fundraising event or for a corporate activity, the service we offer will be second to none.
We are also members of the British Inflatable Hirers Alliance (BIHA). As such, we comply fully with the BIHA Code of Conduct, which you can read here. BIHA membership is not obligatory, and many hirers are not members, but you can be assured that any BIHA member will comply with the Code.
Are your bouncy castles safe?
Absolutely. Our bouncy castles are all professionally manufactured for commercial hire. They are fully tested to BS3424 and tested for flame resistance to BS5438 Test 2A. We will also provide hirers with full safety instructions, and we require anyone hiring an inflatable without staffing to sign a hire agreement outlining their responsibilities regarding safety. We are fully covered by personal indemnity up to £5 million. However, this does not cover all eventualities regarding private parties (please see this news story), so we strongly recommend that anyone hiring our equipment without staff check their home insurance to make sure they are covered. If not, we advise our customers to consider taking out their own personal liability insurance. We can help and advise you on this.
Are your bouncy castles clean?
We reinflate the castle upon return from any event, and give it a thorough cleaning. In our experience as parents, nothing is worse than hiring a dirty bouncy castle, so we promise our castles will be delivered in a very good condition.
How much is delivery?
That depends! If you live within a 5 mile radius of Tamworth, delivery is free. If you are outside this area, please phone us to discuss your requirements.
If I hire a bouncy castle for a childrens party or fundraising event, and I agree to supervise it myself, what is your service?
Right from the first contact, we will make it our priority to understand your requirements, and work with you to provide a stress-free and seamless service. We will work out the dimensions of the area available, so we know the inflatable will fit. We will tell you about the safety requirements, and advise you read the hire agreement. We will also remind you to check your home insurance/public liablity insurance. We will then take your booking (no deposit required), and your contact details. The day before the party, we'll give you a call to confirm the booking, and finalise timings for delivery and collection.
When we arrive, we'll set up the equipment (we'll need access to a plug socket for the blower), make sure everything is safe (no trailing cables, stakes clearly marked to avoid people tripping over them etc.) and then talk you through your responsibilites as the hirer. Once we have completed the necessary paperwork, and finalised payment, we'll show you around the inflatable, so you are aware of how it works and make sure you are happy with the quality and safety of the setup. Finally, we'll agree a time for collection, leave you to it, and arrive to pick up the inflatable at the end of the day. Please do not deflate the inflatable, as we will need to inspect it for damage before leaving.
If I hire a bouncy castle for a childrens party or fundraising event, and ask you to staff it, what is your service?
Our inflatables operators are fully trained in setting up and running the inflatable. Prior to your event, our service is exactly the same as outlined above. All operators are CRB checked, and certificates can be presented on request. On arrival, our operators will be smartly presented (wearing our corporate t-shirts) and will be professional and polite at all times. Our public liability covers us for up to £5 million - several bouncy castle businesses do not have any indemnity, so we strongly recommend asking other companies about this if you decide not to book with us.
What if it rains?
If the weather forecast is bad, we will give you the option of cancelling when we call you up to an hour prior to the event. There is no charge for cancellation. However, if you've hired the inflatable and it gets no use due to bad weather, we will charge you the full hire amount for the day. Any offers of rehire at discount prices are at our discretion.
